Nov 18

I’m usually very aware of my surroundings. Not just what’s going around me, but the day, time, that sort of thing. But yet, a couple days ago I was blown away when my wife said something about how we better order our turkey pretty soon.

Say what?

I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is next week. It just doesn’t seem right.

But I’m getting excited.

We started getting these awesome smoked turkeys at a locally owned store a few years ago and between the food, family, and football … I know it’ll be a fun time.

Then it dawned on me. Oh no, Thanksgiving dinner! And I’ve been doing so well with eating healthy lately.

Uh oh.

But I’m going to make a confession. I’m not even going to TRY and say on my eating plan on Thanksgiving. I’m going to pig out like everybody else and I’m NOT going to feel guilty about it either.

First of all … you know how I feel about eating healthy. Good fuel in … good energy, health, and vitality out. Eat a bunch of junk and feel tired, worn down, yucky, etc.

But sometimes I feel the need to let loose with a big, fun meal and “go with it”.

But I do have a little trick up my sleeve that allows me to eat like a horse once in a while and get away with it.

My “secret” is the fat and carb blocker CHEATmeals. This amazing little product was formulated by the same brilliant mind (Dr. Sam Robbins) that created CholesLo. It’s a fat and carb blocker that is a wonderful little “eraser” when I cheat a little (or a lot) on my regular eating plan. (Notice I didn’t say DIET.)

I know that Thanksgiving isn’t going to be my only big Temptation over the next few weeks with Christmas and Holiday parties around the corner. Luckily, CHEATmeals is one more thing to be thankful for since I’d rather go ahead and give in to temptation - especially this time of year - knowing that I don’t have to see the full effect on the scale over the next few days.

So I’ll be blunt … my plans are to eat myself stupid and fall asleep watching football on Thanksgiving. Now, tell me what your eating plans are for Thanksgiving.

Are you going to try and be “good”?

Or are you going to be like me and have a big “Cheat” day?
